Colorado State University Pueblo

Mario Mattivi is entering his first season as pitching coach atCSU-Pueblo.

Mattivi was a standout pitcher for the ThunderWolves from2008-09, earning all-region honors following a 9-6 campaign inwhich he boasted a 5.47 ERA in 2009.  He was the top pitcheron a staff that led the Pack to its first regional tournament bidin three seasons and the 2009 RMAC Tournament Championship.

Prior to coming to CSU-Pueblo, he pitched for two seasons atTrinidad State Junior College.  At Pueblo South High School,he was a perfect 20-0 on the mound.

Mattivi is a 2009 graduate of CSU-Pueblo.
