Kellen Curtis joined the CSU Pueblo coaching staff in the spring of 2026 and is in his first season coaching the cornerbacks.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Curtis completed his college career in 2025 as a member of the ThunderWolves. During the season, he played in 12 games and recorded three tackles in the defensive secondary for the Pack’s NCAA Division II Playoff team.

Curtis came to CSU Pueblo after playing four seasons at Southwest Baptist University (2021-24). In his time with the Bearcats, he played in 35 games and recorded 123 total tackles, including 70 solo stops, five tackles for a loss, 0.5 sacks, eight passes defended, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

In 2023, he led the Bearcats in tackles with 54 and served as a team captain in 2024. Earned Academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors in 2023.

Curtis, who is a native of Anchorage, Alaska, earned his Bachelors in Sports Business from Southwest Baptist in 2025 and will earn his Master of Business Administration degree this May.
