Jordan Willis is in his fifth season as assistant volleyball coach at CSU-Pueblo.

In 2014, Willis helped guide the Pack to a 17-12 (11-7 RMAC) record and a No. 5 seed in the conference tournament. The 17 victories were the most for the Pack since the 1997 season, while the 11 league wins was their top mark dating back to 2004.

In his first year with the ThunderWolves, he helped coach the Pack to its first winning record and RMAC playoff appearance in five years as the team went 15-13 and finished 7th in the RMAC.

Prior to CSU-Pueblo, Willis was an assistant at Texas A&M-Kingsville from 2007-10, where he helped lead the Javelinas to two Lone Star Conference Tournament appearances.

He came to A&M-Kingsville after serving as the Coordinator of Club Volleyball at his alma mater, St. Mary’s of California. He coached both the men’s and women’s club teams and led the men’s team to a No. 19 national ranking in Division II Club Volleyball.

He also served as head coach at Ygnacio Valley High School in Concord, Calif. for four years and worked at Pinnacle Volleyball Club in Walnut Creek, Calif. for a year.

He received his undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s in 2002 and his master’s degree in 2006. He volunteered for AmeriCorps in New York City for a year, working with youth at an inner-city high school.

Willis was a four year starting setter on the St. Mary’s Club Volleyball team. He was also a three-time all-Northern California Collegiate Volleyball League selection. While an undergrad, he coached two years at St. Mary College High School.
