Joe Romero enters his 11th season with the CSU-Pueblobaseball program.

Prior to CSU-Pueblo, Romero served as assistant varsity coach andjunior varsity head coach at Pueblo East High School from 1995-97.During the 1996 and 1997 seasons, East reached the statetournament's final four.

During the summer of 1997, Romero served as assistant coach for thePueblo Chieftains semi-professional team.

This Pueblo East High School and University of Southern Coloradograduate is an English teacher at the El Pueblo Boys' and Girls'Ranch.
