Janean Jubic is entering her third season as CSU-Pueblo's assistant women's basketball coach.
In her second season with the Pack, the ThunderWolves garnered their second at-large berth to the NCAA Division II Tournament in program history in 2013-14. The Pack equaled the program record for victories, posting a 22-9 mark, including an 18-4 record in RMAC play.
Jubic, a Pueblo native, comes to CSU-Pueblo after a two-year stint at Colorado Christian University. While with the Cougars, she helped lead Colorado Christian to the 2012 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Championship as well as coached the program's junior varsity team. A year earlier, while serving as a student assistant, she helped the Cougars reach their first ever NCAA Division II Tournament.
Prior to arriving at CCU, Jubic played for four seasons at UC-Colorado Springs, where she was a three-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll selection.
A 2010 graduate of UC-Colorado Springs with a degree in finance, she received her Master's of Business Administration from Colorado Christian in 2012. She is extremely close to her family, which includes her parents, Lorraine and Father John Jubic, both of Pueblo West, and her brother, Sean, who she describes as her best friend. She resides in Pueblo.
