Jake Novotny enters his fourth season with the ThunderWolves after he spent the last three as a graduate assistant working with the safeties.

In 2014, three defensive backs earned All-American honors, including safety Jarrod Lacy. Novotny was responsible for defensive opponent film breakdown and self scout, while he also assisted with special teams breakdown and preparation. He also had recruiting areas in Colorado, California, Kansas and Texas.

Prior to CSU-Pueblo he earned coaching experience at Augustana College (Illinois) in Spring 2012 and Heritiage High School in Littleton from 2009-11. (2009 4A State Champions).

Novotny earned his bachelors degree in human performance and sport from MSU Denver and graduated with a masters in business administration from CSU-Pueblo in 2015.
