Ashley Langoni

Ashley Langoni is a Louisiana State UniversityAlumni with a bachelors’ degree in Sports Administration witha concentration in Sports Commerce. Langoni started 65 games forthe Lady Tigers. During her time at LSU, Langoni picked up SECAll-Defensive Team, All-Louisiana First-Team, All-Tournament team,and All-Lousiana Honorable mention accolades. She wrapped up hercollegiate career by starting 152 consecutive games dating back to2010. Langoni finished as LSU’s triple crown leader with a.262 batting average to go along with six home runs and 31 RBIs.Her 45 hits, 77 total bases, and 12 doubles tied her for7th place in SEC rankings. She had the highest multi-hitefforts and multi-RBI performances of the LSU softball team. Shegarnered a 5th place finish with 29 career homeruns and35 career multi-RBI games. Her 110 career walks are third onLSU’s all-time list. Langoni helped lead her team to 4 NCAARegional appearances, 1 super regional appearance, and 1women’s college world series appearance in her senior season(2012). Upon graduating, Ashley Langoni was selected to play on theWomen’s USA National Baseball Team in 2013.

Ashley Langoni was a four-year letterman at Pueblo West HighSchool (CO), and was coached by Bob Zinanti. Her former teammate,Christie Zinanti, is now the head coach of the Colorado StateUniversity- Pueblo Lady Thunderwolves.  Langoni helped leadthe Cyclones to back-to-back 4A State Championships in 2005 and2006 in addition to a trio of South Central League Championshipsfrom 2005-07. Langoni picked up three All-SCL First-Team selectionsfrom 2006-08.. She was a two-time All-State First-Team pick in 2007and 2008. At the end of her high school career, Langoni won theSouth Central League batting competition in 2008.

Langoni was the assistant coach at Discovery Canyon High Schoolin the 2013-14 season. She was in charge of the outfield andcatchers. During her time at DCHS, she helped coach the team to a6-0 undefeated conference play and lead the team to becoming 2013PPAC Champions and 2013 District Champions.
