Cody Andreis was promoted to Head Athletic Trainer at Colorado State University Pueblo on Oct. 1, 2026, after serving as an assistant athletic trainer for the ThunderWolves since July 2022.

In his role as Head Athletic Trainer, Andreis oversees the day-to-day operations of CSU Pueblo's athletic training and sports medicine services and works closely with ThunderWolves coaches, student-athletes, administrators and the University's medical partners, including UCHealth, the exclusive medical provider of CSU Pueblo Athletics.

Since joining the Pack, Andreis has worked with nearly every CSU Pueblo athletic program. He has served as the primary athletic trainer for volleyball, men's and women's basketball, swimming and diving, softball, men's wrestling, men's and women's soccer, women's lacrosse, track and field, cheer and dance, among other programs. He has also provided athletic training coverage for football and baseball.

Along with providing direct care to CSU Pueblo student-athletes, Andreis has helped manage the University's three athletic training rooms. His responsibilities have included coordinating athletic training coverage for practices and competitions, maintaining equipment and supplies, managing inventory and assisting with the overall day-to-day operations of the athletic training facilities.

Andreis has also been involved with CSU Pueblo's hosting of NCAA postseason championship events. He has provided athletic training coverage for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships and has assisted with the planning and coverage of NCAA Division II postseason competition in men's wrestling and cross country. In addition, Andreis has helped develop and regularly update emergency action plans for CSU Pueblo's athletic facilities.

Prior to joining CSU Pueblo, Andreis attended Presentation College in Aberdeen, S.D., where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in May 2022.

While at Presentation, Andreis gained clinical experience working with the school's baseball, women's basketball, softball, volleyball and men's and women's soccer programs. His clinical experience also included time with the Aberdeen Wings hockey organization and the Avera Human Performance Center.

A native of Cañon City, Colo., Andreis has been a Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer since June 2022 and has held his Colorado athletic training license since July 2022. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers' Association and Colorado Athletic Trainers' Association.
