2009-10 (At Northern Colorado): Ended his freshman year with an overall record of 7-10, including a 6-8 mark in duals ... Earned one major decision for the year ... Went 1-2 at the NCAA West Regionals ... Also posted a 16-4 record while wrestling unattached.

High School: Earned all-conference all four years and was all-state academic team all four years as well... As a team, the Grizzlies'' were first in the state both his junior and senior year... also recruited by West Point, Cornell, and Wyoming.
