Trey Page

During the summer of 2019, Trey Page was promoted to full-time assistant wrestling coach after three seasons with the program. 

Page enters his eighth season with the Pack in 2023-24. In charge of the higher weight classes he worked with two wrestlers who earned top 10 national rankings during the season. He helped guide Tarrence Williams (184) to his second appearance at the NCAA Division II National Championships. Haszell West earned All-RMAC First Team honors at 197. 

In 2017-18, the ThunderWolves totaled four RMAC Champions and finished 11th at the NCAA National Championships, the highest finish since the return of the program in 2008. Page helped guide JaVaughn Perkins to a national runner-up finish at 184 and pushed heavyweight Cody Johnson to All-American honors and an RMAC title.

In his first season, the Pack were crowned RMAC Champions and finished 22nd at the NCAA Division II National Championships. With the help of Page, Perkins was fourth at nationals in his first season with the Pack.

Following his collegiate career at Fort Hays State, Page coached for a season with the Tigers. He was part of a national championship team while at Labette Community College and earned All-American honors. He earned his bachelors from Fort Hays University and placed third at the NCAA National Championships as as senior to earn his second NCAA Division II All-American award. A four-time Academic All-American, Page was also a high school All-American, as well as a state champion.
