JC: Finished eighth in the California Community College Athletic Association Championships at 184 pounds helping the Panthers win the team title… Went 31-6 as sophomore in the fall of 2013 after posting a 12-9 record in 2011 as a freshman… Had been 28-1 going into the 2013 post-season before battling through a rib injury… Took first at four regular season tournaments before finishing second in the North Regional.

Prep: Was a high school state qualifier for the Tyson Escobar coached Ponderosa HS Bruins… Graduated in 2011… Won 34 straight matches while winning a league and section championship… Was an all-league performer. 

Academics: Plans to major in engineering.

Off the Mat: Son of Allen and Stephanie Emmons… Younger sisters are Sydney and Chayse… Enjoys hunting, fishing, being outdoors and working out.
