- Indoor School Record Holder in three events (High Jump, 60m Hurdles, 4X400m Relay)
- 2014 Indoor- First Team All-RMAC (60m Hurdles)

2013-14 Indoor Season: Had a stelllar start to her collegiate career, setting new school records in three different events... Competed in the 60-meter hurdles and high jump events throughout the season, incuding at the RMAC Championships... Set a school-record time of 9.03 seconds in the hurdles to take second place and earn First Team All-RMAC honors... Her altitude-adjusted time of 9.07 ranked her fifth on the RMAC''s season-long performance list... Jumped 1.61 meters (5''3 1/4") to take fifth place and earn Third Team All-RMAC honors in the high jump... Had turned in a season-best and school-record jump of 1.65 meters (5''5") at two regular season meets... Was ranked fifth on the RMAC season-long performance list in that event... Claimed three high jump victories throughout the campaign.. Also a semi-regular performer on the Pack''s 4X400-meter relay team... Helped the team set a school-record time of 3:59.81 at the New Mexico Classic.
High School: Double state champion, who won both the 100 and 300-meter hurdles at the 2013 state championships for the Miami-Yoder HS Buffaloes and coach Don McGatlin... School-record holder in three events (HJ, 100m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles)... Was an all-state performer as a junior in 2012 as well... Also competed in volleyball, basketbal and baseball... Was an honorable mention all-state pick in volleyball in 2012... Was school''s valedictorian... Graduated with a 3.8 GPA after being on the honor roll for all four years... Was the school''s National Honor Society President as a senior and the FCCLA President as a junior and senior... Also on the student council.
Personal: Daughter of Duane and Esther Burney... Has three older siblings (Chris, David & Vanessa)... Is majoring in business management... Enjoys hanging out with teammates, collecting anything related to giraffes and people-watching.
