High School: Earned six all-conference track and field selections, including three first-team nods, two second-teams and one honorable mention selection at Evergreen High School in Evergreen, Colo. ... Was a four-year letterman ... Was also on the cheerleading squad, where she helped Evergreen to the 2007 regional championship ... Was the captain of both the track team and cheer squad ... Was an accomplished weightlifter, clearing school records in the bench press (215 lbs.), deadlift (315 lbs.), cleans (150 lbs.) and squat (320 lbs.).

Personal: Daughter of Tammy and Mike Dufford ... Has one older brother, Josh ... Plans to major in nursing ... Enjoys snowmobiling, snowboarding, running, gymnastics, rockclimbing, dirtbiking, wakeboarding, fishing, hunting, camping, weightlifting, and play powder puff ... As cheer squad captain, she helped clear the way for a cheerleader with Down Syndrome to join the squad, which eventually won the regional championship and won numerous sportsmanship awards in the process, including the CHSAA Sportsmanship Award and the National Spirit of Sport Award by the National Federation of State High School Associations.
