Biography
2012-13 Outdoor (Freshman): Redshirt season.
2012-13 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in a variety of events throughout the season, including the pentathlon, 60-meter hurdles and triple jump at the RMAC Championships... Finished ninth in the hurdles, 11th in the pentathlon and 13th in the triple jump... Was making her pentathlon debut and scored 3,004 points... Also made her initial triple jump effort, turning in a mark of 10.27 meters (33''8 1/2")... Other season-bests were 8.28 (60m Dash), 27.95 (200m), 44.79 (300m), 1:04.22 (400m), 2:37.21 (800), 9.36 (60m Hurdles), 1.40m/4''7" (HJ), 5.09m/16''8 1/2" (LJ), and 9.66m/31''8 1/2" (SP)... Her altitude-adjusted season-best of 9.38 in the 60m hurdles, was good for 10th on the RMAC''s season-long performance list... Competed in six total meets.
Prep: Won the state title in the triple jump as a senior (2012) at Cañon City High School in Cañon City, Colo. ... Also took third in state in the 100 meter hurdles and 300 metere hurdles that same year ... State qualifier in the hurdles and triple jump during all four years... Had bests of 14.36 (100m Hurdles), 44 seconds (300 hurdles), 37 feet (TJ) and 17''9" (LJ)... Former member of the Colorado Springs Striders... Earned All-State four times during her high school career... Coached by Bill Saint... Also competed in volleyball and basketball.
Academics: Is majoring in health promotion wellness... Was a Gold Honor Roll selection during all four years of high school.
Personal: Daughter of Coy and Sharon Tuck... Coy competed in track & field at Wichita State University... Has three younger siblings: Coy, Tyler and Trevor... Enjoys hiking and doing outdoor things.
