Club: Swam for Coach Patrick Paradis and the Chena Swim Club … Had previously swam for the West Vancouver Otters Swim Club, breaking many club records in the the breaststroke events … Won the gold in the 200 breast at the provincial championships … Won several other provisional medals… Was a Team BC selection … Qualified for the finals in the Canadian Age Group Championships, finishing sixth … Also took sixth in the Western Canadian Championships … Had made her first Western Championship final at the age of 14.

Personal: Daughter of Mehmed and Svetlana Zijadic … Birthday is June 27 … Plans to major in psychology … Enjoys swimming, basketball and hanging out with friends.
