Sidney Burrell enters her first season as Assistant Coach after being hired by Head Coach Sierra Cardenas in July 2022.
Burrell most recently served as the Graduate Assistant Coach at Concordia St. Paul for two seasons. While with the Golden Bears, Burrell helped to coach two D2CCA All-Central Region selections and guided two student-athletes to the CoSIDA First Team All-Academic.
Burrell also served as assistant coach for Dakota Olympic Development Youth Soccer 07 team.
As a player, Burrell began her collegiate career at Sheridan College and was named first team all-region in 2017. She scored 16 goals and five assists in two seasons. She was a two-time team captain.
After Sheridan, Burrell transferred to University of Mary for her last two years of eligibility. While with the Marauders, she was named a team captain during her final season and totaled seven goals and five assists.
Burrell obtained her Master's Degree in Sports Management from Concordia St. Paul in June 2022 and earned her Bachelor's Degree from University of Mary.
She holds a United States Soccer Federation National D License.
