Biography
Before CSU-Pueblo: Competed at Carroll College in Helena, Montana as a freshman throughout the 2012-13 academic year… Ran for current CSU-Pueblo Coach Matt Morris earning a total of three NAIA All-America certificates on the track.
2012 Cross Country (At Carroll): Earned All-Frontier Conference honors after placing fifth while leading the Saints to a team title… Later finished 79th overall and 55th amongst team scorers to a fifth place finish at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships.
Prep: Ran for Coach Paul Jorgenson and the Flathead HS Bravettes… Had best times of 2:24 (800m) and 5:26 (mile).
Academics: Is majoring in elementary education… Graduated from Flathead with a 3.8 GPA… Was a National Honor Society member and a 4-year honor roll selection.
Personal: Born Jan. 11, 1993 to Beck and Bret Hughes… Older sister’s name is Breanna.
