Jessica Horsley

Jessica Horsley is in her first season asassistant men's and women's track and field coach. Her primary areais working the Pack throwers.

Horsley attended Chadron State University from 2006-14, first asa student-athlete, then as a graduate assistant coach and mostrecently as an assistant throws coach.

As the assistant throwers coach, Horsley oversaw a highlycompetitive men’s and women’s throw squad consisting ofhammer, weight, shot put, and discus competitors. She isexperienced in developing strength and conditioning workouts forthrowers, recruiting high quality individuals for the sport andorganizing high school/collegiate track meets. Horsley helped coachthree All-American athletes, 22 national qualifiers and seven RockyMountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) champions.

As a student-athlete at Chadron State, Horsley earned her owndecorated career as she was an All-American in the hammerthrow, finishing second at nationals. She is a  seven-timenational qualifier (shot put, weight throw and hammer throw) and atwo-time RMAC champion (weight throw - established RMAC record witha thwo of 19.24m - and hammer throw).

Horsley owns a bachelors' degree in interdisciplinary studiesand a masters’ degree in organizational management fromChadron State. She is a member of USTFCCCA and has attenededtwo coaches conferences by the organization.
