Tyler Copeland begins his second year as Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. Copeland played four seasons at Adams State University and was the Grizzlies' Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President from 2016-18.
Copeland served as Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference SAAC Secretary, 2017-18 and was named to Adams State University Dean's List and Vice President's Honor Roll.
He was nominated and attended the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Convention in Baltimore in Nov. 2016. While at ASU, Copeland was the assistant to the Associate Athletics Director. His primary duties included general support for athletic department activities on campus, athletic booster coordination, and event planning. He coordinated half-time shows, fundraising, and other activities.
Copeland's duties at CSU-Pueblo include general assistance to the head coach. Supervising of all team training activities, as well as organize and coordinate practice sessions for red-shirt freshmen. Copeland is responsible for program fundraising efforts including scheduling and directing the men's and women's annual indoor soccer tournament with more than 65 teams in attendance. Copeland also is the CSU-Pueblo Club Soccer Head Coach.
Copeland resides in Pueblo.
