Nick Blackwell
finished his first season at the helm after serving as Assistant Coach for four season. He comes to CSU Pueblo after four seasons serving as the Graduate Assistant and tactical analyst at University Louisville from 2016-2019.

In his first season as "Bench Boss" of the Pack, Blackwell coached one D2CCA All-American (Nick Cenek, 1st TM) and two D2CCA All-Region selections, Cenek (1st TM) and Matty Parkes (2nd TM).

In 2025, five CSU Pueblo athletes were named All-RMAC selections. 

While at Louisville, Blackwell helped guide the team to two appearances in the NCAA Elite Eight, four consecutive NCAA Tournament showings, and the 2018 ACC Tournament title. In four seasons, the Cardinals amassed a record of 43-17-11, which included 19 wins versus Top 25 opponents.

Blackwell coached ten players either selected in MLS Super draft, sign homegrown contract, or who went on to sign with a professional team.

Blackwell attended and competed in men's soccer at Transfylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. He received his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and earned his Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from University of Louisville.
