Nic Bevacqua

Nic Bevacqua was hired as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at CSU-Pueblo in the summer of 2016. Bevacqua joined the Pack after spending the past four seasons as a volunteer assistant coach at Colorado College. During his time with the Tigers, Bevacqua helped lead the Tigers to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Bevacqua is the founder of Blue Label Lacrosse Club, a non profit 501c3 club for southern Colorado and Colorado Springs area . Since 2014, Bevacqua has worked as an assistant coach for Team Colorado in the Brine All-American Lacrosse National Classic. He also serves as an assistant coach for the Philippines Lacrosse Association.

As a player, Bevacqua competed for the No. 1 ranked Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md. As a senior captain in 2009, Bevacqua was named a USILA Second-Team All-American and a Capital Athletic Conference First-Team All-Conference member. He helped lead  the Mustangs to their first FinalFour appearance in 2009. Bevacqua was also selected to compete in the USILA North/South All-Star Game in 2009. In 2007, he garnered CAC Second-Team All-Conference accolades. Bevacqua earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Stevenson in 2009.

Bevacqua has been a part of several milestones, during his time at CSU-Pueblo. He helpedthe Pack to its first win on March 21, 2016 with a 16-12 victory over Young Harris. The ThunderWolves would win three games in Bevacqua's first season.

During the 2017 season, the Pack won its first RMAC game. The Pack made strides in Bevacqua's second season, finishing with a .500 record of 6-6. They narrowly missed the RMAC Tournament due to tiebreakers.
