2017-18 (Jr.): Played in four tournaments… Averaged a career-best 76.8 strokes per round… Carded his best round of the season with a 73 on day two of the Southern Colorado Masters at Pueblo country Club… Finished a season-best +6 thanks to a pair of 74s at the RMAC Fall Preview.

2016-17 (So.): Played in four tournaments and 12 total rounds… Averaged 79.25 strokes per round… Shot a season-best  +1 (73) on day two of the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational at Walking Stick Golf Course… Placed in a tie for 24th in the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational with a season-best +12 (228).

2015-16 (Fr.): Participated in three tournaments for the Pack... Improved his score each time, going from +18 to +14 at the end of the season... Shot a season-best 75 at both the NCAA South/West Region Preview and the South Central Region Crossover... Posted a 77.4 stroke average in 2015-16.

High School: Named a Central Plains League All-Conference selection after leading Trinity to a conference title in 2014 ... Finished first at the 2014 Greater Wichita Woody Austin Classic and went on to place eighth at the Class 4A State Golf Tournament ... Registered a 77.8 scoring average during his high school career ... In the classroom, posted a 3.52 GPA.

Personal: Son of Garry and Dana Shanks ... Has two siblings, Coleman and Hampton ... Enjoys playing guitar, singing and playing basketball ... Intends to study business while at CSU-Pueblo ... Birthday is June 19.
