Tim Callahan enters his fourth season as an assistant coach and second as the equipment mangier in 2021. After two seasons as the offensive graduate assistant coach he was promoted to an assistant coach. Callahan coached the wide receivers in 2018, the offensive line in 2019 and will now transition into coaching the tight ends.

In 2019, four offensive linemen were named All-RMAC with Elijah Reed gathering first team honors. James Parker and Jonah Stupar were second team all-conference and Dan List was named honorable mention. List was named a Second Team Academic All-America selection. On the field, the ThunderWolves finished top three in the RMAC in rushing offense (170.5 ypg), sacks allowed (2.0 spg) and least passes intercepted (6 interceptions). Two running backs were named all-conference honorable mention in Austin Micci and D.J. Penick.

He was a student-athlete at Adams State University and has coaching experience with the Grizzlies and at Overland High School, Wilmington College and Michigan Tech University. 

Callahan was most recently a offensive graduate assistant coach at Michigan Tech from 2015-18. During his time with the Huskies he coached tight ends and the offensive line. His duties included scout team preparation, film breakdown, the organization of youth football camps and recruiting. 

Prior to his time in Houghton, he served as tight ends and strength and conditioning coach at Wilmington College in Wilmington Ohio (2014-15) and assistant coach for tight ends at Overland High School in Aurora, Colorado (2013-14). 

In addition to playing offensive line for the Adams State football team, he was a student assistant coach and video coordinator. He also assisted athletic department efforts in the equipment room, with compliance and with facilities and gameday management. 

Callahan completed his interdisciplinary degree in human performance and physical education with an emphasis on coaching/sports management from ASU in 2013. 

He resides in Pueblo with his wife, Annika.
