Ran a 21:47.7 4K in his college debut at the Memphis Twilight XC Classic ... Ran a season-best 27:10.2 8K at the Greater Louisville Classic ... Ran a 28:08.9 8K at the Commodore Classic.

Ran in the 800m, mile, 4x400m relay and distance medley relay among the five meets at which he participated ... Finished ninth in the 800m with a season-best time of 1:54.65 at the 2016 Kentucky Invitational ... Personal-best mile time of 4:14.51 at Vanderbilt.
