Before CSU-Pueblo: Wrestled at RMAC rival Colorado Mines from 2010-12…. Led the team in wins earning a No. 8 national ranking as a redshirt freshman in 2011-12… Went 22-12 that year, recording six bonus-point victories… Took sixth at the NCAA Super Region Four/RMAC Championships in Hays, Kan… Earned program''s Outstanding Freshman Award and DuPont "Hustle" Award… Redshirted in 2010-11 placing third at the Hastings College Quality Hotel Open and fourth at the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Open as a 157-pound unattached wrestler… Went 5-4 with one fall that year.

Prep: 2-time state and 4-time regional champion for the Cory McNellis coached Ponderosa HS Mustangs… Was a 2010 High School All-American at Reno Tournament of Champions… Won the Top of the Rockies title that same year… Was an all-state candidate and the outstanding wrestler at the Arvada West tournament.

Academics: Graduated from Ponderosa HS in 2010 with a 3.9 GPA… Plans to major in civil engineering.

Off the Mat: Son of Dan and Lisa Kelly… Has four older siblings, including his brother Daniel, who wrestled at Adams State… Enjoys playing Madden 25, going on runs, lifting and singing karaoke with family.
