PUEBLO, Colo. – The CSU Pueblo women's soccer team returns to Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium this week to begin a four-match homestand, welcoming Regis on Friday before closing the weekend against Black Hills State on Sunday.
The ThunderWolves return home after opening Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play on the road last week and will look to take advantage of an extended stretch on their home pitch. Friday's matchup with the Rangers kicks off the four-game stay in Pueblo, while the Pack will turn around Sunday to square off against the Yellow Jackets.
The Pack will close the stretch with home games against MSU Denver (Oct. 2) and Colorado Christian (Oct. 4).
CSU Pueblo (2-3-2) returns to the pitch after scoring a 1-1 draw last week at Western in the RMAC opener for both teams. Baylie Reedy (Fr., Wichita, Kan.) scored her third goal of the year in the waning minutes to help the Pack earn a hard-fought point on the road.
Pack goalkeeper Peppi Niemi (Fr., Helsinki, Finland) continues a solid freshman campaign and made another 3 saves, bringing her season total to 36 through seven games.
