PUEBLO, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Thursday afternoon that Colorado State University Pueblo junior women's golfer Yale Lee has been named the league's Week One RMAC Women's Golfer of the Week.
Lee earns the honor after capturing the first individual tournament victory of her collegiate career while helping lead the ThunderWolves to the team championship at the season-opening Travis Roy Memorial in Sheridan, Wyoming.
The CSU Pueblo standout delivered when it mattered most, helping the Pack secure a dramatic two-stroke team victory over Westmont and Westminster.
With CSU Pueblo, Westmont and Westminster all tied at 61-over par late in the final round, Lee stepped to the par-5 16th hole — her final hole of the tournament — and recorded an eagle to propel the ThunderWolves into the lead and ultimately secure the tournament championship.
Her performance also earned Lee the individual title, marking the first collegiate victory of her career.
The tournament victory continued an impressive run for the CSU Pueblo women's golf program, which entered the 2026-27 season as the preseason favorite in the RMAC after winning four consecutive conference championships and making the program's first appearance at the NCAA Division II National Championships last spring.
Lee entered the season as one of the Pack's top returners after earning First Team All-RMAC honors last season.
Thursday's announcement marks the first RMAC weekly women's golf award of the 2026-27 season. The Pack are back in action next Monday and Tuesday at the MIAA Preview, hosted by Newman University in Andover, Kansas at Terradyne CC.
