COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer was selected to finish ninth in the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the league office.

The ThunderWolves collected 55 points in the preseason voting to earn the ninth spot in the 13-team poll. Head coaches were not permitted to vote for their own teams.

Colorado School of Mines was narrowly selected as the preseason favorite after collecting 134 points and three first-place votes. The Orediggers enter 2026 as the two-time defending RMAC Tournament champions after finishing last season 14-2-5 overall and 9-1-2 in conference play. Mines advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2025.

Colorado Mesa was picked second with 132 points and received a poll-high five first-place votes. The Mavericks captured the 2025 RMAC regular-season title and earned the No. 1 seed and hosting rights for last year's conference tournament before advancing to the NCAA Tournament.

UCCS landed just one point behind Colorado Mesa in third with 131 points and also received five first-place votes. The Mountain Lions reached the semifinals of the RMAC Tournament last season before earning an at-large NCAA Tournament berth and advancing to the third round.

Fort Lewis was selected fourth with 109 points, while Regis rounded out the top five with 98 points. Westminster was sixth with 81 points, followed by MSU Denver in seventh with 71 and Colorado Christian in eighth with 63.

The Pack will get its first taste of competition Thursday when it hosts Western Colorado in a scrimmage at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
