COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 7, 2026) - After another dominant week in the circle, Colorado State University Pueblo standout
McKenna James (Sr., Windsor, Colo.) has been named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Pitcher of the Week for the third time this season.
James continues to lead the ThunderWolves' pitching staff with commanding performances, helping propel CSU Pueblo to a program-best 14-game win streak including a four-game sweep over Colorado Mesa at home last week.
She went a perfect 2-0 over the weekend and tossed two complete games, logging a team-high 13.0 innings across her appearances. She allowed just four earned runs while striking out eight and limiting the opposition to a .286 batting average across four games.
She finished the week with a 2.15 ERA adn earned a 1.38 WHIP.
James currently leads the RMAC in ERA (1.71) and innings pitched (122.2) and she sits in the top three in wins (13), and strikeouts (93).
James is CSU Pueblo's first three-time RMAC Pitcher of the Week recipient since 2010 when Justine Bosio earned the honor in three straight weeks (Mar. 2, Mar. 9, Mar. 16).
The ThunderWolves will put their win streak on the line this week and travel up I-25 and take on UCCS in a four-game set starting Friday at Mountain Lion Field in Colorado Springs.
