PUEBLO, Colo. (April 22, 2026) - Colorado State University Pueblo's
Thale Victoria Estensen (Fr., Høvik, Norway) and
Jimmy Pelletier (Jr., Laval, Quebec, Canada) have been named Pack Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by Chick-Fil-A.
Estensen played a pivotal role in leading the ThunderWolves to their fourth consecutive RMAC Championship.
Estensen delivered one of the top individual performances of the tournament, posting rounds of 70 (-2), 77 (+5) and 38 (+2) in the weather-shortened final round, which was limited to nine holes due to unplayable conditions at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
Competing in her first RMAC Championships, Estensen showed poise beyond her years, handling difficult wind consitions and high-pressure moments with confidense as the ThunderWolves secured the team title with a three-round total of 745 (+25).
With the RMAC title secured, Estensen and the ThunderWolves now turn their attention to the NCAA postseason, where CSU Pueblo will host the NCAA West Regional May 4-6 at Pueblo Country Club.
On the men's side, Pelletier was the cornerstone for the CSU Pueblo offense during a four-game road series against No. 26 MSU Denver. Over the week, Pelletier maintained a blistering .467 batting average, leading all ThunderWolves starters with seven hits in 15 at-bats.
He tallied two doubles and a home run, resulting in a team-high .800 slugging percentage. Pelletier's knack for getting on base and scoring proved vital to the team's 3-1 record against the Roadrunners, as he crossed the plate eight times and drove in four runs.
Defensively, he was perfect in the field, navigating 20 total chances with six putouts and 14 assists to finish the series with a 1.000 fielding percentages.
Up next, Pack baseball stays on the road and will begin a four-game set Friday at Adams State.
