PUEBLO, Colo. (February 27, 2026) – Colorado State University Pueblo softball's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) road series at Regis University in Denver has been moved back one day due to inclement weather in the region. The four-game series will now begin with a doubleheader on Sunday at Noon and will wrap with two more games Monday beginning at 11 a.m. at Regis Softball Field.
The Pack (9-9, 5-3 RMAC) return to the diamond after winning 3-of-4 in a home series last week against Black Hills State.
In that series, the ThunderWolves offense erupted for 36 hits over four games and scored 20 runs including twelve extra-base hits. Cali Cole (So., Merced, Calif.) and Gissel Morales-Cermeno (Jr., Houston, Tex.) each went 6-for-14 (.429) at the plate, while Cole recorded two doubles and four RBI.
In the circle, McKenna James (Sr., Windsor, Colo.) was dominant again and finished the week with a 1-1 record and an outstanding 0.88 ERA. She allowed one earned run and struck out ten over 8.0 innings of work.
Kayli Cooper (Jr., North Battleford, Saskatchawan, Canada) picked up a win after throwing a complete game on Sunday. She allowed one run on six hits and had three strikeouts.
Freshman Eva Miller-Sanchez (Denver, Colo.) notched her first win of her career in game three of the weekend and went the distance, allowing three runs and one earned to go with one strikeout and three walks. She held the Yellow Jackets to a .222 average.

Last season, CSU Pueblo won three-of-four games at home against the Rangers.
