PUEBLO, Colo. (March 19, 2026) - Colorado State University Pueblo's Febe Wessels (Sr., Pretoria, South Africa) and Tim Anstett (So., Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany) have been named Pack Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by Chick-fil-A, following a historic showing at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships.

Saturday's action was highlighted by a breakthrough performance from veteran thrower Wessels, who captured her first career national championship in the women's shot put.

Entering the fifth round in seventh place, Wessels delivered in the biggest moment—launching a clutch throw of 16.25 meters to surge into the lead. She held her position through the final round to secure the national title, cementing her place in CSU Pueblo history.

On the men's side, Anstett turned in an All-American performance to lead the ThunderWolves. Anstett played a key role on the men's distance medley relay squad that finished fifth overall, earning All-American honors. He followed that effort with an outstanding individual showing in the men's 800 meters, placing third in the nation with a time of 1:49.01 to secure another All-American accolade.

The duo's performances were instrumental in the ThunderWolves' success on the national stage and highlight a strong finish to the indoor season for CSU Pueblo Track & Field.
