SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (March 13, 2026) – Colorado State University Pueblo wrestling redshirt-freshman Jacob Myers (Castle Rock, Colo.) saw his run at the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships come to a close Friday after going 1-2 in the 133-pound bracket at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

Myers opened the national tournament with a strong performance, edging James Armstrong Jr. of West Liberty in a tightly contested 5-4 decision in the opening round. The victory moved the CSU Pueblo standout into the quarterfinals.

In the quarterfinal bout, Myers faced Dominic Ducato of St. Cloud State. Ducato controlled the match and earned a 3-0 decision, sending Myers to the consolation side of the bracket.

Wrestling to keep his tournament alive, Myers matched up against Zachary Parker of Glenville State in the consolation rounds. Parker secured the win by fall at the 4:32 mark, ending Myers' tournament run.

Despite the setback, Myers capped off an impressive 2025-26 campaign, finishing the season with a 14-5 overall record while earning a berth to the NCAA Division II Championships and finishing third in the region.

Myers' appearance at the national tournament marked another strong step forward in his collegiate career as he represented the Pack on the sport's biggest stage.
