PUEBLO, Colo. (February 14, 2026) - The Colorado State University Pueblo wrestling team closed out the regular season in winning fashion Saturday night, defeating New Mexico Highlands, 24-17, in front of their home crowd on Senior Night.

Before the dual, CSU Pueblo Head Coach and his staff honored five wrestlers who will finish their careers at the end of the season.

Calvin Bahl (Vancouver, Wash.), Donn Greer (Soledad, Calif.), AJ Gunn (Evergreen, Colo.), Hunter Richardson (Page, Ariz.) and Remington Winmill (Wendell, Idaho) all were recognized.

CSU Pueblo used bonus points and clutch decisions to secure the dual victory and build momentum heading into postseason.

The ThunderWolves claimed six victories on the night, highlighted by a fall at 184 from Greer over Michael Santos. He led 13-2 after the first period before scoring a take down in the second and gained control for the pin.

CSU Pueblo picked up crucial decision wins throughout the middle and upper weights. Gunn earned an 8-3 decision at 133 pounds over James Romero-Montoya, while Kevin Boston (So., Omaha, Neb.) secured an 8-6 victory at 149 pounds against Sebastian Freeman.

At 157 pounds, Richardson battled to an 8-7 decision versus Reed McCarty and Henry Sturn (Sr., Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) capped the ThunderWolves individual wins with a strong 4-1 decision over Phillip Chobot.

At 174 pounds, Solomon Arnds-Volcin (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) put CSU Pueblo in front at the time with a forfeit victory.

Despite losses at 125, 141, and 165 pounds, the ThunderWolves' bonus-point victories proved to be the difference in the dual as they held off the Cowboys to sure the RMAC win.

CSU Pueblo now turns its focus to the postseason as the ThunderWolves travel to Golden to compete at the NCAA West Regional on Feb. 28. The top-three finishers at each of the 10 weights qualify for the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships, which are set for March 13-14 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
