Cole and Sanders Named Pack Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by Chick-fil-A

PUEBLO, Colo. (February 12, 2026) - Colorado State University Pueblo's Caitlyn Cole (Sr., Merced, Calif.) and Dylan Sanders (Jr., Aurora, Colo.) have been named Pack Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by Chick-fil-A.

Cole etched her named in the CSU Pueblo record books and became the 9th player in program history to reach 200-hit club. Leading the ThunderWolves to a 2-3 record in their home debut at the Southern Colorado Crossover, Cole batted .353 (6-for-17) and slugged four extra-base hits, including a home run and three doubles. She scored five runs and swiped three bases in four attempts.

In ten games to start the season, Cole is batting .371 and has 13 hits, four doubles, two triples and home run.

The ThunderWolves will next hit the diamond and begin RMAC play on Feb. 21 at Chadron State.

On the men's side, Sanders led the ThunderWolves to a 3-0 week including a pair of double-digit wins at home. Sanders has averaged 54.5 percent shooting, 17.3 points and 4.3 rebounds this week. He has been a perfect 6-for-6 at the charity stripe in that span.

The Pack's three-game win streak began with an upset win over No. 13 Black Hills State. In the contest, Sanders scored 20 points and brought down a team-high six boards. He finished with a team-high three 3PM.

In the Saturday matinee against Chadron State, a 74-65 victory, Sanders ended with 12 points and three rebounds and three assists.

In the Tuesday-midweek game against UCCS, Sanders finished with a team-high 20 points and earned four rebounds and three dimes.

Up next, the Pack continue RMAC play on the road with a game Thursday at Colorado Christian.
