PUEBLO, Colo. (Oct. 28, 2026) – The nationally second-ranked Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team has secured the No. 2 seed in the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Men's Soccer Tournament, earning a first-round bye and the right to host a semifinal match on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. at Gonzales Stadium.
The ThunderWolves, under first-year head coach Thomás Pazo Tourinho, enter postseason play with an unbeaten 13-0-3 overall record after concluding the regular season with a scoreless draw against No. 23 UCCS on Wednesday evening in Colorado Springs. CSU Pueblo finished RMAC play with an undefeated 7-0-3 conference record, continuing one of the most impressive campaigns in program history.
As the tournament's second seed, CSU Pueblo advances directly to the semifinal round, where the Pack will face the winner of Sunday's quarterfinal matchup between third-seeded Fort Lewis and sixth-seeded South Dakota Mines. The Skyhawks and Hardrockers will square off on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m. in Durango.
The ThunderWolves have enjoyed success against both potential semifinal opponents this season. CSU Pueblo earned a 3-1 nonconference road victory over Fort Lewis on Sept. 20 before shutting out the then-No. 14 Skyhawks, 2-0, on Oct. 11 at Gonzales Stadium. Against South Dakota Mines, the Pack recorded a 4-2 victory on Oct. 4, highlighted by a two-goal performance from Brandon Sanchez.
On the opposite side of the bracket, top-seeded Regis also receives a first-round bye and will host the winner of fourth-seeded UCCS and fifth-seeded Westminster. The Mountain Lions and Griffins will meet Sunday, Nov. 1, at 2:30 p.m. in Colorado Springs.
The two semifinal winners will advance to the RMAC Tournament Championship, scheduled for Saturday or Sunday, Nov. 7-8, at the home field of the highest-seeded remaining team.
Wednesday's semifinal contest will be streamed live on the RMAC Network at RMACNetwork.com, with live statistics available through GoThunderWolves.com.
