COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 20, 2026) – Following a pair of crucial Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) road victories, Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer defender Silvio Termini has been named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league office Tuesday.

Termini played a pivotal role in helping the sixth-ranked ThunderWolves post a perfect 2-0 record this past weekend, earning a 2-1 victory at MSU Denver on Friday before rallying for a thrilling 3-2 come-from-behind win at Colorado Christian on Sunday.

The defender appeared in both matches off the bench, logging 67 minutes while contributing on both ends of the pitch. Termini finished the weekend with one goal, two points and two shots, placing both attempts on target for a perfect 1.000 shots-on-goal percentage.

His biggest moment came Sunday against Colorado Christian, when the ThunderWolves found themselves trailing twice in a tightly contested RMAC showdown.

After CSU Pueblo erased an early 1-0 deficit, the Cougars regained the lead in the second half. Termini delivered a crucial equalizer in the 68th minute, finding the back of the net to bring the match level at 2-2 and swing momentum back in favor of the Pack.

The ThunderWolves eventually completed the comeback with a late goal from Nick Cenek to secure the 3-2 victory and collect three valuable conference points.

Along with his offensive contributions, Termini provided valuable minutes defensively as the ThunderWolves limited their two opponents to a combined 17 shots, including eight on goal, over the weekend. CSU Pueblo also held a 29-17 advantage in total shots and a 12-6 edge in corner kicks across the two victories.

The weekly recognition marks the second RMAC Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season for Termini, further highlighting his impact on both ends of the pitch for the nationally ranked ThunderWolves.
