PUEBLO, Colo. (Oct. 20, 2026) – The Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team continues its impressive climb up the national rankings, moving up four spots to No. 2 in the country in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll released Tuesday.
The ThunderWolves, under the direction of first-year Head Coach Thomás Pazo Tourinho, improved to 12-0-2 on the season following a pair of hard-fought Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) road victories over MSU Denver and Colorado Christian this past weekend.
CSU Pueblo entered last week's poll ranked sixth nationally before securing a 2-1 victory over MSU Denver on Friday and a thrilling 3-2 come-from-behind win over Colorado Christian on Sunday.
In Sunday's victory, the ThunderWolves overcame one-goal deficits twice, receiving two goals from Nick Cenek and another from Silvio Termini to remain unbeaten on the season.
The No. 2 ranking places CSU Pueblo among the nation's elite programs as the regular season enters its final stretch. The ThunderWolves are one of just two teams ranked in the Top 5 without a loss this season, joining top-ranked Cal State Los Angeles.
Cal State Los Angeles (13-0-1) maintained its position atop the national rankings, followed by CSU Pueblo (12-0-2), Charleston (12-2-0), Florida Southern (10-1-2) and Midwestern State (11-0-4) to round out the nation's Top 5.
The RMAC is represented by four programs in this week's Top 25, led by CSU Pueblo at No. 2. Regis entered the rankings at No. 17, while UCCS checked in at No. 23. Fort Lewis, which CSU Pueblo defeated 2-0 earlier this month, is not ranked in this week's national poll.
