COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 12, 2026) – Following an impressive week on both ends of the pitch, Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer standout Silvio Termini has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Defensive Player of the Week, as announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Termini played a key role in helping the No. 7 nationally ranked ThunderWolves post a perfect 2-0 record last week, earning an 8-0 victory over Adams State on Thursday before shutting out No. 14 Fort Lewis, 2-0, in Sunday's highly anticipated RMAC showdown at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
The honor comes after Termini recorded a team-leading three assists over the two matches while contributing to a defensive effort that held both opponents scoreless.
In Thursday's commanding victory over Adams State, Termini dished out two assists in 46 minutes of action as the ThunderWolves erupted for eight goals. He also registered one shot on goal in the victory.
The midfielder followed that performance with another strong outing against nationally ranked Fort Lewis on Sunday, recording an assist in 41 minutes of action to help the Pack secure a crucial conference victory.
For the week, Termini finished with three assists, three points and two shots, both of which were on goal, while playing 87 minutes across the two contests.
Beyond his offensive contributions, Termini helped CSU Pueblo turn in one of its strongest defensive performances of the season. The ThunderWolves limited their two opponents to just 11 combined shots, including only five on goal, while recording consecutive clean sheets.
The Pack outshot its opponents by a combined 44-11 margin and held Fort Lewis to just one shot on goal in Sunday's nationally ranked showdown.
With the two victories, CSU Pueblo extended its unbeaten start to the season and moved into sole possession of first place in the RMAC standings.
Termini and the ThunderWolves now turn their attention to a two-match road trip in the Denver metro area, beginning Friday at MSU Denver before traveling to Colorado Christian on Sunday.
