PUEBLO, Colo. (January 29, 2026) - The Colorado State University Pueblo wrestling team fell 33-13 to Western Colorado in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference dual Thursday at Massar Arena.

The dual was highlighted by three individual victories for the Pack including a win by pin for Brandon Bigler (Sr., Pacifica, Calif.) at 141 pounds. Deacon Pickett (Fr., Las Vegas, Nev.) and Solomon Arnds-Volcin (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) also scored back-to-back wins at 165 and 174, respectively.

The Mountaineers opened up the dual with consecutive falls at 125 and 133 pounds to build early momentum. CSU Pueblo answered at 141, where Bigler put the ThunderWolves on the board with a fall at 3:17 over Ty Reeves.

Western Colorado responded with another fall at 149, but the Pack continued to battle throughout the middle of the lineup. At 165 pounds, Pickett earned a hard-fought 21-17 decision over Jacob Blandford to add three points for CSU Pueblo. Arnds-Volcin followed with a dominant performance at 174, posting a 13-2 major decision against Miles Harris.

Despite competitive efforts late in the dual, Western Colorado secured the team victory with wins at 184, 197 and 285.

The ThunderWolves will look to bounce back as RMAC competition continues on the road next week when the Pack wrestle Thursday at T-No. 22 Colorado Mesa and at T-No. 22 Mines on Friday.
