CHADRON, Neb. (January 23, 2026) — The Colorado State University Pueblo wrestling team battled through competition Friday night but fell 39-3 to No. 17 Chadron State College Eagles in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference dual.
The ThunderWolves' lone victory came at 174 pounds, where
Solomon Arnds-Volcin (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) earned a hard-fought 5-3 decision over Logan Berger to put teh Pack on the board. Arnds-Volcin controlled key exchanges throughout the bout to secure the decision and account for the ThunderWolves' three team points.
At 141 pounds, No. 13-ranked
Eddie Bowman (So., Trinidad, Colo.) went toe-to-toe with No. 14 Caleb Chaves in one of the night's most competitive matchups. Bowman battled through all three periods before coming up just short in a 4-2 decision.
Chadron State picked up additional points throughout the lineup, including bonus-point wins at 149, 157, 184 and 197 pounds, to pull away in the team score.
