Estensen Named RMAC Golfer of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado State University Pueblo freshman Thale Victoria Estensen has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week following her impressive victory at the Travis Roy Memorial in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Estensen claimed medalist honors at Powderhorn Golf Club, firing back-to-back rounds of 70 to finish 4-under par for the tournament. The victory was especially remarkable as it came in just her second collegiate start, showcasing the immediate impact she has had on the ThunderWolves' lineup

Her strong play helped pace CSU Pueblo to a dominant 30-stroke team victory, their second consecutive team title to begin the season.

Located in the heart of Sheridan, Wyoming, Powderhorn Golf Club is a 27-hole private facility designed by Dick Bailey. Managed by Troon Golf, the course is known for embracing a casual western style while delivering a premier golf experience. Nestled against the backdrop of the Bighorn Mountains in the western Rockies, the layout challenges players with elevation changes, strategic bunkering, and pristine mountain views that test every part of a golfer's game.

Estensen and the ThunderWolves now turn their attention to hosting duties, as they will welcome the field for the NCAA West Regional Preview at Pueblo Country Club in just under a month.
