LAKEWOOD, Colo. (May 1, 2025) - The Colorado State University Pueblo softball team saw its 2025 season come to a close Thursday afternoon in an elimination game at the RMAC Tournament, falling to MSU Denver by a score of 9-1.
The ThunderWolves were paced offensively by
Taylor Brower (Jr., Vacaville, Calif.), who led the team with two hits.
Raelynn Rogers (Sr., Surprise, Ariz.) and
Cali Cole (Fr., Merced, Calif.) each chipped in with a hit, while
Madelyn Huerta (Jr., Azusa, Calif.) drove in the lone run for the Pack.
CSU Pueblo tallied three doubles in the game and was successful on two stolen base attempts.
In the circle,
McKenna James (Jr., Windsor, Colo.) threw 5.1 innings, allowing six runs on seven hits while walking five. James was tagged with the loss and finishes her season with a 12-14 record.
With the loss, the ThunderWolves wrap up their 2025 campaign with an overall record of 27-26.
