PUEBLO, Colo. (December 10, 2025) — Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer standouts Nick Cenek (Gr., Peoria, Ill.) and Matty Parkes (So., Newcastle, England) have been recognized among the region's elite, as the United Soccer Coaches announced their 2025 All-South Central Region Teams. Cenek was named to the First Team, while Parkes secured a spot on the Second Team, marking two of the ThunderWolves' most consistent and explosive performers throughout the 2025 campaign.

Cenek delivered one of the most dominant attacking seasons in the South Central Region. Leading the ThunderWolves with 12 goals, 5 assists, and 29 total points, Cenek finished the year as one of the RMAC's most productive offensive playmakers.
Cenek recorded two hat tricks, against UCCS (Nov. 5) and Fort Lewis (Oct. 19), and led CSU Pueblo with 54 shots and 33 SOG, converting at an impressive .222 scoring rate. His five game-winning goals anchored the Pack's 9-3-7 overall record and postseason push.
Parkes earned a spot on the Second Team after serving as one of CSU Pueblo's most versatile and reliable contributors. Parkes finished the season with 6 goals, 3 assists and 15 points, ranking second on the team in total scoring.
He posted a season-high 4-point performance with two goals against Dominican (Sept. 13) and logged goals against UCCS, Mines, Regis and Saint Martin's. Parkes also tallied 26 shots and 13 shots on goal, proving to be a consistent threat in the attacking third while contributing heavily to the midfield buildup and possession control.
CSU Pueblo concluded the 2025 season with a 9-3-7 record, highlighted by 42 team goals, 73 corners earned, and seven combined shutouts. Cenek and Parkes played pivotal roles in the Pack's offensive identity, driving CSU Pueblo to a RMAC postseason berth.
