USAF Academy (Nov. 9, 2025) — The Colorado State University Pueblo wrestling team put together a strong showing against NCAA Division I opponent Air Force on Sunday afternoon, before the ThunderWolves ultimately fell 26-15 at Clune Arena.
CSU Pueblo picked up four individual wins in the dual, highlighted by a pair of early victories that gave the Pack an early lead.
At 125 pounds, Everest Sutton (Fr., Eugene, Ore.) opened the dual in style with a pin over Air Force's Nico Tocci at the 4:14 mark, giving the ThunderWolves a 6-0 advantage. Jacob Myers (Fr., Castle Rock, Colo.) followed at 133 pounds, earning a 4-0 decision over Bubba Wright to make it 9-0 in favor of the Pack.
Air Force responded with wins at 141 and 149, but Kevin Boston (So., Omaha, Neb.) swung the momentum back CSU Pueblo's way at 157 pounds, earning a 6-3 sudden victory over EJ Beloncik. The Pack extended their lead again at 165 pounds, where Deacon Pickett (Fr., Las Vegas, Nev.) secured a hard-fought 10-7 decision over Sebastian Martinez.
The Falcons closed out the dual by taking the final four bouts, including a pair of falls at 184 and 197 to secure the 27-15 team win.
