PUEBLO, Colo. (November 25, 2025) - Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer standouts Nick Cenek (Gr., Peoria, Ill.) and Matty Parkes (So., Newcastle, England) have been selected to the 2025 D2CCA First Team All-South Central Region, the organization announced Wednesday. The duo becomes the latest ThunderWolves to earn regional recognition following a strong 2025 campaign.

Cenek delivered one of the most dominant campaigns in the RMAC, finishing the year with 12 goals, 5 assists, and a team-high 29 points, all while starting 18 of 19 contests. His production included two hat tricks, both coming in critical conference matches (vs. UCCS on Nov. 5 and at Fort Lewis on Oct. 19).

He also recorded five game-winning goals, showcasing his influence in tight match-ups as the Pack secured a 9-3-7 overall record and a berth in the RMAC Tournament.

Midfielder Parkes proved to be one of the region's most versatile attacking threats, tallying 6 goals, 3 assists and 15 points while starting 16 matches. Parkes posted a season-high four-point performance with two goals against Dominican (Sept. 13) and added another multi-point outing with a goal and assist versus UCCS (Nov. 5).

Known for his work rate and creativity, Parkes contributed both in build-up play and in big-moment scoring situations, helping anchor a ThunderWolves attack that produced 42 goals on the year.

Together, Cenek and Parkes combined for 18 goals, 8 assist and 44 points, powering one of the conference's most efficient offenses. Their All-Region selections mark significant national recognition for their contributions and highlight the continued success of CSU Pueblo men's soccer under head coach Nick Blackwell.
