PUEBLO, Colo. (November 13, 2025) - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men's Soccer All-Conference teams on Thursday, and Colorado State University Pueblo was well-represented, placing five ThunderWolves across the First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention lists after a competitive season.
Graduate midfielder Nick Cenek (Peoria, Ill.) and sophomore midfielder Matty Parkes (Newcastle, England) were each selected to the First Team All-RMAC, highlighting CSU Pueblo's impact in the heart of the pitch. The duo anchored the ThunderWolves' midfield with creativity, possession control, and consistent two-way play that powered the Pack throughout the season. Cenek, a veteran presence from Peoria, Ill., and Parkes, a rising standout from Newcastle, England, were two of the conference's most reliable midfielders, earning recognition from coaches across the RMAC.
The Pack also saw two freshmen defenders earn Second Team All-RMAC honors, honors, signaling a promising future for the program. Pedro Martinez Castro (Langreo, Spain) and Jose Peris Gimeno (Burriana, Spain) made immediate impacts in their debut season, solidifying CSU Pueblo's back line with composure, intelligence, and technical quality beyond their years. Their defensive consistency helped steady the Pack against one of the toughest slates in the region.
Rounding out CSU Pueblo's honorees is graduate midfielder Mohammed Shahabodien (Johannesburg, South Africa), who earned Honorable Mention All-RMAC recognition. Shahabodien provided depth, physicality, and experience in the midfield unit, contributing valuable minutes throughout the season.
In total, the ThunderWolves' five selections reflect a balanced and talented roster featuring veteran leadership, emerging underclassmen, and international skill across the pitch. With two First Team honorees and four underclassmen earning postseason recognition, CSU Pueblo continues to build toward sustained success within the RMAC and NCAA Division II landscape.
Allesio Andreottola from Fort Lewis College was named RMAC Offensive Player and Freshman of the Year, while UCCS' Luke Noameshie hauled in Defensive Player of the Year and MSU Denver's Nick McNeil and Nick Kirchhof were named Goalkeeper of the Year and Coach of the Year, respectively.
