ALAMOSA, Colo. (Oct. 16, 2025) – The Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team got back in the win column Thursday afternoon with a convincing 4-2 road victory at Adams State in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action at ASU Soccer & Lacrosse Field.

The ThunderWolves' attack was led by So Nagano (Sr., Kobe, Japan) and Nick Cenek (Gr., Peoria, Ill.), who each scored two goals and combined for three assists. CSU Pueblo (5-1-7, 1-1-3 RMAC) fired 15 total shots, seven on goal, while limiting Adams State to six shots.

Nagano opened the scoring in the 20th minute, finishing a pass from Cenek to give the Pack an early lead. He doubled the advantage seven minutes later with his second goal of the day off an assist from Joseph Delaney (Jr., Sutton, England). The Grizzlies responded with a goal in the 37th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1 heading into halftime.

Adams State tied the match 2-2 early in the second half before the Pack offense surged again. Cenek put CSU Pueblo back in front in the 61st minute after connecting with Yahel Paramo Caudillo (Jr., Leon, Mexico), and sealed the victory 12 minutes later with his second tally of the game, assisted again by Delaney.

Tristan Whitlock (R-Sr., Lincoln, Neb.) earned the win in net, making one save across 82 minutes of action before Gabe Selby (Jr., Woodbury, NJ) closed the final eight minutes.

CSU Pueblo held a 15-6 shot advantage and drew even in corner kicks, 2-1.
