ThunderWolves Basketball to Host Second Annual “Massari Madness” on October 30

PUEBLO, Colo. -  Colorado State University Pueblo men's and women's basketball programs are set to tip off the 2025–26 season in style as the ThunderWolves host the second annual "Massari Madness" on Wednesday, October 30 at 6:00 p.m. inside Massari Arena.

The event, which is free and open to the public, invites students, fans, and the Pueblo community to get an early look at both Pack squads ahead of the upcoming season. The evening will feature high-energy entertainment including a slam dunk contest, skills challenge, three-point shootout, and a short scrimmage showcasing both the men's and women's teams.

Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to meet the players and coaching staffs, take part in contests and giveaways, and experience the electric atmosphere that defines Pack Basketball inside Massari Arena.

Adding to the excitement, the first 100 fans through the doors will receive an exclusive Massari Madness T-shirt presented by Siete Inc. — a must-have collectible for ThunderWolves fans.

This year's event will also mark the debut of first-year men's basketball head coach Zach Ruebesam, who will introduce his inaugural squad to Pack Nation. On the women's side, head coach Tommie Johnson returns to lead a talented ThunderWolves roster with championship aspirations heading into the new campaign.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the festivities tipping off at 6:00 p.m. Students are encouraged to arrive early for special prizes and Pack-branded giveaways.
