PUEBLO, Colo. (January 17, 2025) - The Colorado State University Pueblo wrestling team returns to the mat at home and welcomes No. 16 Colorado School of Mines to town on Friday for a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference dual starting at 6 p.m. inside Massari Arena.
The ThunderWolves continue their hot streak that started over a month ago and the team has strung together eight dual wins in a row since December 21.
The Pack have six wrestlers have reached double-digit wins,
Solomon Arnds-Volcin (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.),
Eddie Bowman (Fr., Trinidad, Colo.) and
Henry Sturn (So., Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) all have identical 14-7 records.
Rhys Sellers (Jr., Gallup, NM) leads the team with six wins by fall and he, along with freshman
Kevin Boston (Omaha, Neb.) having earned twelve wins on the year.
Donn Greer (Jr., Soledad, Calif.) went unbeaten in three matches last week and for his efforts, was named RMAC Wrestler of the Week. Greer
Opponent Capsule
The Orediggers from Colorado School of Mines enters the match with a 7-2 record against all opponents including Division II and NJCAA schools and hold a 1-0 record in RMAC play.
Mines lineup features five ranked in the Top 14, led by #4 ranked Grayston DiBlasi at 141 pounds who enters the week with a 16-3 record and is 8-0 in duals.
Last time out, Mines fell at home, 25-19 against Cal Poly Humboldt.
